The gang (P'aor, Pa & myself) visited Waitarere beach last weekend (20-21 oct). It was a long weekend as Monday was a public holiday (Labour day).
Our road trip started on Saturday morning (around 10am), the weather was bad (well, at least it wasn't raining, could be worse!!!) . It was really hot and sunny on Sunday though which is great!
We stopped few places on the way there and way back to Welly, e.g. Lindale farm, Levin, Otaki, paraparaumu. We went to the patch where we can pick apples and chillies, unfortunately there's no chillies or apples, we did have some good photos though.
Night time activities, after having a nice yummy dinner (cooked by myself, haha), we ended up karaokeing... We sang, sang & sang til we had no energy left, then slept in the living room, all together. We couldn't be seperated as we love each other so much, don't we? ha ha!!! I thought we were just too lazy to move ourselves to the bedrooms (Oops!).
We had experience the power outages twice while we were there (one on Saturday evening & another on Sunday morning). Locals said they didn't have this problem often.
To leave people in safe and peace, we left Waitarere beach on Sunday lunchtime. Hope they are already back to normal... ha ha!!! :)
Thanks to Pa & P'aor for the enjoyable trip naka! One thing I have never mentioned, You guys are "talented" singers ka' (kiki)

I had a very great time too! Only one thing I regret about the trip was "sleeping on the floor"!! One and only ja... the rest was just awesome!
